Sat, 1st October - Roswell Youth Parade

Like last year SEWA will participate in the City of Roswell annual youth parade on Sat, 1st October 2011 - with our youth accompanied by adults proudly demonstrating our Sikh culture with colorful  bhangra, gidha, gatka etc. or just marching with colorful dresses of our culture.
The route is about 2 miles, and terminates 100 yds from our Gurdwara at the Roswell Parks - where there will be a big 'mela', free lunch for youth (also available for purchase by adults), and fun activities like petting zoo, giant slide, mini-train, entertainment etc.
Participants must be at the starting point at First Baptist Church on Mimosa Blvd. before 9 AM on Saturday October 1, 2011. The parade route starts at the First Baptist Church on Mimosa Blvd., right on Magnolia Street, left on Canton Street, left on Woodstock Road, and right into Roswell Area Park. Since the roads will be closed, the parade will finish at 11:30 AM.
