Kitchen Renovation

Langar

The tradition of Langar ( free vegetarian meal) was started by the first guru, Guru Nanak Dev jee to uphold the principle of equality between all people of the world regardless of religion, caste, colour, creed, age, gender or social status .It was an institution designed where everyone would sit together as equals to eat the same simple food. This principle still holds true even today and is followed in every gurdwara around the world. We at Sewa Gurudwara follow this tradition for every deewan (service). Everybody is welcome to take part in the deewan and the Langar thereafter, without any obligations whatsoever.

Gurdwara Kitchen

A good kitchen is the most signficant requirement to prepare the Langar and serve the needs of sangat. Last year as a part of gurudwara expansion project at Sewa Gurdwara, we removed the existing kitchen so that more sangat could be accommodated. Since then, Sewa Gurudwara is in need of a new kitchen for its langar needs. By God's grace we got our construction plan approved from City of Roswell , this month and we are all set to start the construction. We already have some money to get the Kitchen project started but we need your help to complete it. Drop by Drop we fill a ocean, so every penny from you will help. Please donate generously for our kitchen renovation so that we can have Loan-Free Kitchen
